Ninja® Cooking System with Auto-iQ™
80+ pre-programmed recipes with 4 cooking methods–all in 1 pot.
Cooking dinner with two toddlers can be very difficult. Everyone, that I tell that to says, “have you tried using a slow cooker?” I hate slow cookers. At least before I got a Ninja cooking system with a slow cooker setting. In most of the recipes I had to pre cook the food before putting it in the slow cooker for 4 to 8 hours. Then I still had pans to clean up. I also refuse to use the plastic liner for slow cookers because I don’t want the plastic cooking in my food. Regular slow cookers are very heavy and hard to clean in the sink. It just really turns me off. The slow cooker I owned before the Ninja one was very heavy and way too big for the dishwasher so since I was turned off by the bulkiness and how time-consuming the recipes were I only use it about twice a year.
The insert is extremely lightweight. It is easy to clean in the sink or the dishwasher. I can hold it easily with one hand. It takes less than 5 minutes to clean so I find it pointless to put it in the dishwasher. Food does not stick at all.
You can bake, precook, slow cook, steam and it is just amazing! You no longer need to cook the meat in a separate pan before slow cooking and I love that because extra dishes are annoying!
I will be cooking a lot this year with the Ninja Cooking System and I will be sure to share all my recipes with you on my blog or Instagram. I should note I was recently diagnosed with Celiacs Disease and it has gotten very severe so all of the recipes will be Gluten Free. It also comes with a book filled with tons of recipes!
I have been cooking so much with this and I just love it! I am doing a Christmas party write up for Oriental Trading and I used it to make my family bean dip. It is a recipe that has caused fights over the years because it goes so fast. I doubled it this year and it still went fast!
What you will need:
1 can of refried beans (small 15oz or so)
1 block of cream cheese
1 cup of shredded cheese.
Then you put it in the Ninja cooking system in layers. So enough refried beans enough to cover the bottom of the pan. The cream cheese. The other half of the beans and then top with shredded cheese. If you double I just always make sure to add the shredded cheese last. I never mix that within the layers. I put it in the Ninja Cooking System and I used the layered bowl setting. Then I switched it to the warm setting on the slow cooker settings.
