Adam has been talking about being Mario for Halloween since his birthday in May. He really wanted his brother to be Luigi, but Henry is too small for any of the Luigi’s I could find. I was asked to review a costume on CostumeDiscounters.com, and I was able to search for Mario within seconds. I was shocked to see that a Mario costume was under 20 bucks. I have been browsing for months, and they were all in the $30-$50 range anywhere else, so I was putting it off until the last minute.
I am really into, “Once upon a time” right now, so I wanted to be something Witchy for Halloween. Everything I found of interest was over $100.00 until I checked out Costume Discounters. Check out this one for under $50.00!! If you browse their site and you see a costume that they sell anywhere else they will not only match that price, but they will give you 20% off!
This is Adam’s first Halloween where I feel like he will remember it. We couldn’t even go out last year because it was one of the worst storms of the year in Chicago. I am keeping my fingers crossed that this year will be better. I do love that this Mario Costume is a tiny bit too big on him because I know once Halloween is here I am going to want to put some warm clothes under them and there is plenty of room. The costume also came with a mustache, but he didn’t want any part of it. I think older kids wouldn’t care, but I am not sure many three year olds would want to wear that. The only thing that could make this costume better is if it came with the white Mario gloves. The Mario gloves are sold separately. I found the material to be soft and comfy on his skin.
If you have Swagbucks and your make a purchase from Costume discounters through them you can also ear 12SB per dollar! They have affordable costumes, for kids, toddlers, adults as well as sexy and plus size.
