I have been reading tons of articles online, books and just absorbing as much as I can about the Keto diet. I did it for two weeks just as a test to see how I would feel before I discussed it with my readers! I think it will be the plan for me. I have decided to keep reading up and preparing myself with Keto staples for the house while depleting things in my pantry that my family doesn’t like, but I do, before I start.
I would just donate or toss the food, but we don’t really have a budget to throw out food that is perfectly good. I don’t have any processed foods in the house, but I do have things like oatmeal, honey, and reviews I promised to companies that are high carb that I need to fulfill. So I have decided to start on July 9th! My mom visits towards the end of June and we have a birthday party planned for the boys on July 2nd that I want to enjoy without stressing. Every time my mom visits I swear I am on some sort of diet, so I just wanted to be able to relax with her and do what ever we want together.
The last two weeks have been simple and easy, and I am learning a lot about what I need to do. I hope you will join me. I feel like there is a weight-loss plan out there for everyone, and I am hoping this one will be for me. I did lose about 90 pounds on Atkins in 2000 along with some diet pills that the FDA ended up removing from shelves. I no longer take any weight loss pills. It should be interesting to see how well I do without pills because I refuse to take things like that these days. If you can think of any low carb non processed foods I may enjoy please let me know in the comments below and I will add them to my list of things to buy! See you then!
