After all this isn’t your ordinary chocolate or cocoa powder. I have been making my brownies for years and my husband loves them, but I decided to use their cocoa powder and incorporate the chocolate as well.
That looks awesome right? My husband had some friends over and I thought it was the perfect time to make these babies because I didn’t want to have a ton of dessert in the house because I am on a weight loss journey, but I wanted to have fun! They were so good that when our guests left the brownies were GONE! My husband was like, “Those brownies tasted amazing is it a new recipe?” Nope I just used a different cocoa power! WHAT? So Jilly’s Honduras Rich Chocolate Brownies were born!
How do you make these babies? Well I can’t say it is a secret. Haha! Just kidding here ya go!
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil, 1 cup cane sugar, 1 tsp vanilla, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup Honduras cocoa powder, 1/4 tsp baking powder, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, 1/2 unbleached flour and a Honduras 75% Cacoa Chocolate Square.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9×9 inch baking pan. In a medium bowl, mix together olive oil, sugar, and vanilla. Beat in eggs.
Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt; gradually stir into the egg mixture until well blended. Stir in walnuts and save some for the top.
Spread the batter into the greased pan. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the brownie begins to pull away from edges of pan. Let cool on a wire rack before cutting into squares.

Oh my god, this just looks too good. I need try this. ASAP.
Brownies are my husband’s favorite snack. These look so good and cocoa powder straight from the farm must be amazing. That piece of chocolate on the top makes them more festive and delish!
