I have had the worst Wifi issues this year to the point my husband actually bought me a laptop for my birthday, which was in late November because we figured it was my old laptop. We were only getting about 1 to 2 bars in my office, and it was making a blog post that should take 30 minutes take about two hours. The laptop arrived at my door step, and before I could even open it, I found out that I would be teaming up with the eero company. I decided instead of opening my new laptop to use my old one to test out the eero.
I am happy to say that I am typing this post quickly on my old laptop. The wifi and connection has been incredible. If my computer wasn’t having other problems aside from the wifi issue then I would return the new laptop to the store. Plus my husband got a great black Friday deal! Speaking of deals now through 12/24 you can get $100 off the eero 3-pack system and $50 off the 2-pack system! If that wasn’t enough you can also get Free shipping with the code: GIFTOFWIFITB&H
Here is the proof! NS1070 is the eero! ATT592 is my old connection. It is amazing!!
Before eero, not only did my laptop in my office have issues, we would have issues streaming YouTube/Netflix on our TV in the living room. If I was watching Netflix and I missed something due to having to change a diaper or meet my toddlers needs, I would try to rewind what I was watching upon return to have it only buffer and freeze. Numerous attempts at resetting our router would not help. It was a mess. Now that we have the eero set up in the house the last two weeks, we haven’t had any issues whatsoever.
If you are having any of the issues above before you go out and get a brand new laptop like I did check out the eero website first. Maybe it isn’t your laptop. There are so many features that come with your eero as well.
The eero app lets you manage your network from the palm of your hand, so you’ll know how many devices are connected and the Internet speed you’re getting from your ISP. The app also allows you to configure advanced settings like DHCP, NAT, DNS, UPnP, Port Forwarding, and flux capacitation.
My favorite feature is the ability to have dinner at the table without technology! I told my husband I need to be in charge of the app because he is the worst offender.
Parental controls shouldn’t be one-size-fits-all: they should be tailored to each individual’s age and specific needs. With Family Profiles, manage your family’s screen time by creating profiles, setting schedules, managing devices, and pausing the internet for bedtime or important family moments like dinner. Now, the only thing standing between you and a great family game night is your family.
